I'm not sure. I always heard it had to be a Wired controller to work. Maybe the above software works on non wired ones. I do have a old play and charge kit with cable.

Plug and plays won't work. They're not for data transfer.

I have an XBOX 360 controller for Windows, had it for years. They just have a wired USB connection on the front of them.
