Insurgency - any good?

So I just bought Insurgency and heard some good things about it, like similarity to Red Orchestra 2 in terms of gameplay.

Oh, and it's currently on a steam sale for 9.99

I played it a bit, but I prefer to play RO2. I would say Insurgency is a mix of RO2 and Counter Strike.

Correct me if im wrong, But it's based off of the Mod for HL? I think i've played the mod which was decent, but way too many ways gain an advantage.

Well, I'm going to try it out. CS mixed with more tactical games is a formula that seems promising.

And it's a less popular game, which triggers my hipster-sense

Well played it back when it was a F2P HL mod, and back then it was horrible if you ask me, The hitreg and Playstyle where weird to be honest

But they might have fixed it by now, but in imo its not worth the 20bucks

I like it, very good to play with people you know in a team hard but fun
